The City of Plantation will be temporarily switching to free chlorination in its drinking water system beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 and ending at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022.

During our September 20 Association Meeting, PAHA is hosting our 2022 City of Plantation Candidates Night. All candidates for mayor and city council member have been invited to participate in this nonpartisan community event. Don't miss this opportunity to hear from the candidates in a neutral atmosphere. Residents are urged to attend. Plantation Police Crime Prevention Officer Daryl Radziwon will give a presentation including Plantation Acres. He will also address questions.

A purchase order in the amount of $39,900.00 was approved by City Council July 20, 2022 for Volunteer Park North Pier Bridge Repairs.

We have learned that Rob Steigle has come to the city’s Development Review Committee with plans for 4th Street Estates, 4 separate homes to be parceled on the 4 Acres that face 4th Street. This is what the code permits in RS1-EP, and we couldn’t be happier. We do not have any information about the other 7 acres behind that, but this is progress! We are not letting our guard down. During the March 30th update and workshop on the Series 2017 Ad Valorem Bond Projects a conceptual improvement plan for North Acres Park was displayed.
